Hotel Petra is nice little gem of a hotel in Rome. It is a bit far from the main city center, but the hotel staff provides on-demand pick and drop from nearest metro station (Anagnina) from where you can go to all the attractions in Rome. The hotel rooms are very spacious with private patio. The washrooms are very clean and big. There is plenty of space outside the hotel including a lawns, garden, and parking area. You will feel very comfortable and safe with your stay. The hotel staff is very hospitable, personal, and friendly. They speak reasonable English so communication is not much of a problem. The breakfast is served in room, and you can let them know the previous night on what you want (juice, bread, coffee, etc.). There is a nice little minibar in the refrigerator to get additional drinks. The hotel also provides pick and drop facility from the airport on a paid basis. Please check with them upfront to book the airport transfers. Overall, our stay in Rome was made very comfortable at Hotel Petra. Many thanks to Stefano, Fabio, Gianni, and many others whose name I couldn't get properly.

Petra is just stunning. If you love serene place and first-class service you will be in heaven here. My all stay was just bliss. A special thanks to Stefano, Fabio, Gianni, Lorenzo, Recordo for all their help in my all stay. Petra is my Second home in Rome. Rooms are spacious with small lawn, kitchen (Not in all room) & bathrooms and good for long stay. They have a shuttle service to Station or workplace, and some extra special service by Gianni only for me. I really love it and would recommend over anywhere. Grazie mille!!

Hotel Petra and Residences: Its a nice calm place with nice people running the show - Stefano, Fabio, Gianni, Lorenzo are all top top guys. Pros: 1. You get a nice big room. 2. Breakfast is delivered straight to the room and the timing is immaculate. 3. Bathrooms are very spacious and neat. 4. These guys - Stefano, Fabio, Gianni and Lorenzo are all very friendly and nice guys. 5. You have kitchen which is a must for long duration stays. Cons: 1. Distance from FCO is too far. But the hotel guys will arrange for transfers from/to the airport at some cost (50 Euros) 2. Distance from the city is a little far, the nearest Metro station being Anagnina Terminal. You also get a pick up / drop by hotel guys to this station. 3. If you are unlucky, you will move around quite a bit between the rooms of the same hotel as the hotel is generally overbooked in summers. Overall, its a top place if you love to stay away from the crowds and noise of hustling and bustling Eternal City ! :)

Nice hotel and very nice crew. Very good breakfast directly in room. We were with my mom (80 yr) and the crew was so kind that they drove us every day from hotel to subway and back without any fee. Good base for visiting Rome, e.g. by car or even bus to subway end station.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip for a month. Most of the rooms are pretty big and serve as studio apartments. They are clean and well furnished. Breakfast is served in the rooms and you could tell the staff what you want a day before. They even provided us with a shuttle service to nearest mall and metro station. A special thanks to Gianni, Stefano and Fabio for making this a trip a comfortable , fun and memorable trip!
